It lies close to my heart since i started to toy around with this before Internet even existed, my first computer game was a Boxing game written in Basic with Turnbased input and output in text where it was totaly random who won.
Basicly 1-10 was randomed and you scored a KO if you scored a 10 and automaticly won the match, kinda funny eitherway and when i think of it, it was my first and only game aswell hehe.
It wasent all that long before i had a Multinode BBS system (several incomming lines) and all that comes with that.
I never became really good in makeing tunes altho i did make a couple of good ones aswell as a couple of neat intro demos in Turbo Pascal with some ASM involved there.
Today it feels like it was in another life , yet it cant have been more than 20 years ago and the funny thing, i dont have a single shred of data saved since that time, talk about self eradication, but thats how i work sometimes.
Anyway since i more or less voluntarly have stared to toy around in this world again i pickedup some basic HTML / PHP / Ajax etc..
And figured i wanted to do something with Mods now when there are so many tunes gathered in Modland for example.
Daniel Becker made a awesome player to use for this purpose, i asked him for some possibilites and he proved to be a very nice guy to work with and also made an Old School looking applet for his player, check his pageout JavaMod
Here is the updated mods page Mods & Chiptunes section
There are probably some bugs to sort and i know the playlist have a lot to wish for, ill prolly digin and check the callback functionality in Applets to se how i can co/op with the page when useing playlists, id like it to interact better for sure.
